Shoeburyness and Southend firefighters are holding a charity coffee morning at Southend Fire Station on 22 February to support a local girl’s treatment.
The coffee morning will be held between 10am and 1:30pm next Saturday with all money raised being donated to Lily’s GoFundMe page.
Lily, who lives in Leigh, was diagnosed with an aggressive malignant brainstem tumour a few months ago and is trying to raise £300,000 to get treatment in the United States, which isn’t available in this country.
So far more than £217,000 has been raised to support Lily. If you would like to show your support please pop in to Southend Fire Station on 22 February between 10am and 1:30pm or, you can visit her GoFundMe page.
