A misconduct hearing for a serving officer has concluded.
Police Sergeant Paul Colgan based at Central West Command Unit, answered allegations that his conduct amounts to a breach of Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of: Authority, Respect & Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct.
It was alleged that on 8 January 2018 whilst on duty PS Paul Colgan threatened to assault and damage uniform and personal property belonging to a colleague he believed had taken his property.
The panel found PS Colgan was in breach of Authority, Respect & Courtesy and Discreditable Conduct which amounts to misconduct.
He was given a final written warning.
